Viruses. This is a very common problem with computing platforms. Unfortunately, you can get a virus by visiting certain websites. You can find both paid and free anti-virus software. In addition, this type of software will also help prevent any additional viruses entering your computer.

Malware. This is also known as malicious software. Examples of malware include Trojan horses and worms. These problems infect your system through email attachments or peer-to-peer file downloads. Malware is sometimes difficult to eradicate. You may have to perform a system restore or even a re-install.

Spyware. This is one of the most common problems that can infect your computer. Unfortunately, it’s very easy to pick up spyware. Some internet cookies are considered spyware. You will notice a significant slowdown of performance if you have encountered spyware. You will need to install a program designed to eliminate spyware to end this problem. Again, you can find both paid and free programs.
